My View on the Future of the Web

The Future of the Web is a project by Open Ampify, a series of innovators giving their views on what will be happening next. I was fortunate enough to get interviewed and give my point of view. If you haven't heard me speak about "Here Comes Everybody" Clay Shirky's book that is what I am referencing in the video here

I think this was recorded some time last year. And before anyone gets upset by my use of Facebook and Twitter just remember. You don't have to have an account (open) to see what is going on twitter but you do have to sign in on Facebook (closed).

Glad to be in the same line up with Chris Brogan, Peter Corbett, Geoff Livingston and Alexander Howard.

UPDATE: I will be posting the video here later.

FYI: I don't agree with Brogan on the "velvet rope" of social networks. That is what I would consider closed networks. I don't believe we get the quality we can from social technology by closing doors to certain people. I do agree the new big winner is coming and it's not here yet but it will be open and provides cross aggregation. Buzz is trying but NO.
