alwaysOn: announces the top 25 women to watch in tech

A few weeks ago AlwaysOn posted "The Lack of Women in Tech," it's an interesting read and includes a few articles that discuss some of the issues in the tech field about these challenges. Challenges that I have been fully aware of as a techie who speaks across the country about this issue. The article is a good read and has some resources you should check out.

This week AlwaysOn is announcing The 2010 Top 25 Women in Tech to Watch. Among some of the great women I know personally in the field is my name. On Wednesday they will be webcasting the reception from Stanford University Summit. Here is why these women were chosen:

"The honorees come from many different fields and backgrounds, including computer hardware, Web 2.0, print and social media, alternative energy, and more. The executives being recognized this year represent companies ranging from startups to corporate giants.

These women underscore the critical role intelligence,
perseverance, and tenacity play in new company and new job creation as well as providing sustainable environments where technology thrives."

Thanks AlwaysOn for including me, I am honored to be listed with other great women in tech. And congrats to all my fellow honorees. The full list is below.
